LABORATORI

The workshop is an assimilation of movement, image and colour… in silence. We are the stimuli… a man, a woman, a group, hands: body and thought… with a capacity to love, to imagine, to represent…

“And each time the man and woman who gave voice to the silences coming into sight composed what usually slowly appeared after a long journey. For that short time the upright posture was lost, and the four legs, and the three, and the two, were not found again, as in the actions of those who meet a stranger in the street and kill him, but losing the voice waited for the call that came from before, from the land of shadows and light, the land of images, the land of silence”.

The Laboratories of Image and Creative Writing were held at the University “La Sapienza” of Rome, Faculty of Humanities from 1999 until 2012, and have continued activities in the Libraries of the Municipality of Rome.
